SOLAR CHARGER 24V TO 72V MPPT BOOST

The 24V to 72V MPPT Boost Solar Charger offers efficient charging and versatile for a variety of batteries. Thanks to MPPT technology and the integrated Boost controller, it maximizes the use of solar energy, thereby reducing installation costs.

24V TO 72V MPPT BOOST SOLAR CHARGER: DESCRIPTION

The Solar Charger 24V to 72V MPPT Boost offers exceptional versatility for charging a wide range of batteries, from 24V to 72V, regardless of their technology type. Compatible with Lithium (LiMn and LiFePO4), Lead, Gel, NiMh and NiCd batteries, this charger uses MPPT technology to ensure optimal charging performance.

Thanks to its integrated Boost controller, this solar charger allows you to use a solar panel output voltage lower than that of the battery to be recharged. You can recharge a 36V Lithium battery with a single 12V solar panel, offering great installation flexibility and increased efficiency.

MPPT technology with integrated Boost controller also allows you to use a single 12V solar panel to recharge 12V, 24V, 36V or 48V batteries, thus reducing the size of the installation and associated costs.

However, it is essential to respect certain specifications: the tension output of the solar panel must always be lower than the low voltage cut-off threshold of the battery to be recharged. In addition, the output current of the solar panel or all panels should not exceed 300W to avoid overload.

This charger, although efficient, is not waterproof . For optimal use, it is recommended to read our blog article on solar charging, where you will find additional information on how to get the most out of your solar charging system.

WARNING: The output current of the panel or all of the panels must not be greater than 300W otherwise the charger will go into safety mode.

The panel input voltage must be lower than the voltage battery output.

WHAT IS MPPT TECHNOLOGY?

MPPT technology, or Maximum Power Point Tracking, is a method used in solar charging systems to maximize the efficiency of converting solar energy into electricity. It works by dynamically adjusting the output voltage and current of the solar panel to get the most out of the power available at any time.

In other words, MPPT helps maintain the solar panel at its maximum power point (PPM), where it produces the most energy possible, even when sunlight conditions change. This results in a significant increase in charging efficiency, meaning more solar energy is converted into usable electricity to charge the batteries.
